Opening scene boards from pre production of The Wheel, a short independent film which recently wrapped up post production. Working closely with the director yielded a more random assortment of boards, however thats how he prefered it.
An assortment of boards from a music video I got brought on to assist with. The director had more of a shot wishlist than an actual shot list so these were all drawn with little order in mind. Fortunatly they've been organized into an animatic which I'll post later.
My first foray into feature film production was as a storyboard artist for the historical fiction No God No Master. The script and director provided the majority of the direction initially as the locations were still being scouted and the cast determined and shot list nonexsistant. The storyboards were to be produced quickly so it was encouraged that the boards not be too detailed or polished. As such, they were done in pencil with minimal cues (though more were added later).
This piece was commissioned by the Poetry Foundation for its 2009 Poetry Everywhere program. As another animated piece which was personally directed, it lacks any cues or proper polish in its boarding.
